I started as a total beginner and after three months I have conversational Spanish (more or less). This was thanks to both Babylon and my Spanish friends. The combination of lessons, which provide you with the basics, and living with Spanish students is perfect. Throw yourself in, have no fear and be prepared to make a few mistakes. Great experience.
