We have already written many things about the wonderful city of Valencia in this blog… so today I´m going to write more specifically about our school: where we´re located, our classrooms and many others things.
We’re on the second floor in a historical building built in the 1950′s. It is full of charm and in the heart of the city, between Plaza de la Reina and Plaza del Ayuntamiento, on the same street as the famous Ceramic Museum and the city’s most luxury stores e.g. Luis Vuitton and Bulgari.
On the corner of our street there´s an official tourist office, where you can find everything you will need to enjoy the city outside of your Spanish lessons. We also have one Valenbisi (public bike transport) station just 2 minutes walk away, perfect for those warm summer days. If your not keen on riding bicycles, the bus stop located directly in front of the school will take you to the beach.
Here in Valencia we have 6 classrooms and each one has the name of the most famous districts from Valencia. We feel that this is a nice way for you to get to know Valencia better. Every week you´ll be in a different classroom and you can organize yourself to know all the districts according to your “classroom of the week”.
There is also a special classroom called “Alameda” made for the students =). Here you can find all the information about current events and competitions at Babylon Valencia as well as a drinks machine and coffee machine. It is also a place to relax and you will find computers with internet access, newspapers, magazines, maps and a big table with special timetable to study. Flyers can be found in Alameda with discount for our students to take advantage of.
Only two months ago we refurbished the reception area and now our Head of Study is even closer at hand to help you with any queries you may have.
We´re very proud of the changes we made and continue to make… so why don´t you come to check out all of the facilities that we offer together with our Spanish course? And don´t forget that Valencia was elected by Lonely Planet one of the 10 top cities to live in 2011.
