Learn Spanish in the home of your Teacher

Homestay teaching: What is it?

You leave your country behind, you arrive in Spain and your Spanish immersion adventure begins as you are picked up by one of our friendly teachers from the airport or train station.

Between one and four weeks, you will be part of his or her household, join the family on numerous occasions for social and cultural activities and receive 15, 20 or 30 private classes per week. In one word: Amazing.

Juhi Prasad [India]: The "Mi Profe" programme is an experience I would strongly recommend to all students. I learnt so much more about Spanish life and culture than I would have by just attending school, and also got to experience, first hand, true Spanish hospitality.

  • All our Mi Profe teachers have university degrees in Spanish Philology or similar and have ample experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language
  • The academic program follows the strict guide lines of Babylon Idiomas and uses the same didactic materials
  • You can choose from 15, 20 or 30 classes per week with a maximum duration of 4 weeks
  • A second person (friend or family member) can join at a 15% discount
  • Minimum age is 14 years
  • Your progress is reported on a weekly basis and followed by our academic staff
  • We can tailor-make the course content to suit your specific needs
  • You will receive a certificate at the end of your course

How does it work?

Babylon Idiomas works with a select team of Mi Profe teachers who are located throughout Spain. These teachers are not always available. We therefore like to ask you to indicate a preference for a region on the contact form and we will match your region preference and profile with a teacher who is available.

Who is it for?

The Mi Profe program is open to any student aged 14 or older. Its specific benefits are of course that you'll be completely immersed in learning Spanish from start to finish and that the intensity of the program is such that you'll make progress realy fast.

We highly recommend this program to students who wish to truly immerse in the Spanish language, to those who have little time available to learn as much Spanish as possible (often for business purposes) and to parents who are looking for a cultural enriching experience for their son or daughter.
