Málaga is one of the oldest cities in Europe with a histoy going back over 2.700 years. Probably named after the Phoenician word "Malaka" meaning "salt" as fish salting was one of its earliest activities, the city has been one of the most important ones in the Western Mediterranean.
It is the capital of the Málaga province and the 6th largest city of Spain with just over 500.000 inhabitants for the city alone and closer to 1.5 million for the wider region. In the last 50 years, The famous Costa del Sol is just around the corner and Málaga is an excellent and well connected gateway for the rest of Andalusia.
Our school in Málaga is located next to the beach in the Eastern subburbs of Málaga which makes it an ideal location to learn Spanish under the sun.

Wide selection of Spanish courses
The following Spanish courses are taught in Málaga:
- Intensive Course 20+5 - 20 classes per week + 5 culture classes
- Super-intensive course 30 - 20 classes per week + 5 culture classes and conversation practice
- Inmersión - Intensive course + 5 private classes per week
- Español Exprés - 20 or 30 private classes per week
- Individual classes
New Intensive and Super-intensive courses start every Monday and you can study spanish for as long as you want between 1 week and a full academic year (great idea for a gap year or sabbatical). We distinguish 6 different Spanish levels so there is always a group that is right for you.

Málaga is one of the best places to learn Spanish
With over 320 days of sunshine per year and the warmest climate in Europe, Málaga is a great destination year round to learn Spanish and enjoy the good life. You can get into the real Spanish rhythm of enjoying life as it comes and admire the beauty of the Mediterranean and the Andalusian sun that make this part of Spain such a pleasure to visit.
Málaga is also famous for its Picasso museum, the Feria de Málaga and its gastronomy. It is very well connected to the rest of Andalusia as well with a high speed train connection to Madrid. With one of the largest airports in Spain, it is very easy to get here: ¡hasta luego!
