Lying in the Sierra Maestra valley, Cuba’s second largest city Santiago de Cuba ia perfect place for sun worshippers and beach lovers. Known as the ‘cultural capital’ of Cuba, this picturesque city is famous for its literature and music.
As one of the first settlements that the Europeans founded in the 16th century, Santiago de Cuba really is a fusion of many different styles and ethnicities and you can find examples of many different types of amazing architecture in the narrow winding streets.
However, we would argue that Santiago de Cuba’s biggest selling point is the people. Joyous and hospitable, these Cubans know how to enjoy life. So why not relax in one of Cuba’s warmest cities and make some lifelong friends.
Your Spanish course in Santiago de Cuba
Classes are held at local homes, either in the teacher's home, in the house of the host family or in the Paradiso center, a cultural center in Santiago de Cuba. Students are informed of the exact location upon their arrival.
All of our lessons and accommodations are arranged in REPARTO SUEÑO. "Reparto Sueño" is a residential area within walking distance of Céspedes Park, the heart of Santiago de Cuba. In the same area is the city's largest hotel allowing tourists to access the most important amenities (mail, exchange, internet, etc) and enjoy a refreshing afternoon close to the swimming pool. Also, you can find the Heredia Theatre, the Sports House and Ernesto Che Guevara Monument close by.
Lessons take place either in mini groups, with a maximum of 4 students per group or can be taken privately, depending upon your preference and budget.
